A Key Moment

Happy Wednesday! It's no secret that I love food – especially anything with cheese included. Can you blame me? That being said, when I was invited to check out the semi-newly opened brunch menu at The Keystone I was intrigued.

Once I heard "best mimosa deal in town" I was an automatic in. Little known fact: I've played a game called mimosa wars when I first moved here and it's as gross as you think. Also very sugary. Let's just say the hangovers were little to be desired.

Anyway, YOU GUYS. This brunch menu is I-N-S-A-N-E. It's sooooo good. And if you didn't see the mac 'n cheese in the photos, well it not only looks awesome but the taste is like being hugged by a beautiful block of cheddar and that cheese cube never letting go. It's THAT good.

Like I said, I dig cheese.

Along with the mac 'n cheese, some other highlights:

  • Southern Fried Chicken Benedict: Curry coconut waffles, Tasso ham Bernaise. It was a dream.
  • Short Rib Pot Roast Hash: I love pot roast so I stuck to the meat. Moist (sorry for that word), flavorful, melt in yo' mouth.
  • Fried Ribs & Pickles: My personal favorite. It included soy & calamansi glaze, fried garlic and pickled okra. I ate around 4 ribs so hey, sue me.

If you couldn't guess, brunch at The Keystone is inspired by the South with Executive Chef Banks White being from Texas. He draws inspiration from his grandmother whose motto I can totally get behind.

Through food, you can bring a little joy, a little happiness to those who need it most.

Well said.

If you're a brunchin' fool like me, you won't want to miss out on the delectable delights via The Keystone.

Cheers!
