Hi Everyone!

Happy Tuesday and of course, the first of October! I hope ya'll are having a killer day! Apologies for the light post yesterday -- the clock struck 7 p.m. and I was an literal and figurative zombie. I promise, i'm feeling 100% up to snuff now and ready for a rockin' post!

I absolutely LOVE mixing patterns and textures. Can you tell? I'm sure you're not surprised (evidence here, here & here) so this outfit was no different.

There's always something about a horizontal print that throws me. It's so versatile. My favorites are from Old Navy or Gap where they have a variety of colors, styles (I opt for a crew neck!) and price ranges. Whether you pair it with a military green camo jacket, a traditional blazer or another subtle pattern, the look is entirely unique and effortless -- how I love to live my life, eh?

The bag was a gift from my Aunt from last year and I always love how it spices up an otherwise fairly traditional outfit and makes it well, ten times more festive.  Can you be festive in October? It's almost Halloween, right? I'm also kind of dying over this one, too.

Thanks for sticking with me, ya'll!

Until tomorrow!
