Weekend Snapshots

Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday! Hope you're having a good start to the week as the holidays draw oh so near. I'm at home sick, unfortunately, but I'm heading off to sunny Florida tomorrow evening so I'm hoping I'll feel an ounce better. If you've ever traveled on a plane sick, well, it's really no good.

Anyway, the weekend was super relaxing and the perfect way to say goodbye to San Francisco for a little while. Alright, 7 days.

Friday night a friend had a "beer & story" event at Laughing Monk in Bayview! I don't really get the chance to head over to that part of town too often, but the brewery (and stories!) was awesome. I sipped their Witbier the entire night while ogling the cutest pug named Mr. Wiggles

Saturday was Ittai & I's 1 year anniversary! So crazy how to flies and then again, how it doesn't. We started the morning with Nourish Cafe (their tuna sandwich is da bomb!) and then channeled our inner Bob & Linda by checking out this awesome street painting in the Mission. We ended the evening with dinner at Octavia and a beautiful dessert presentation at Spruce. Nom!

Sunday was spent exploring Sutro Baths and then watching Manchester by the Sea with Rob. (must-see!) I closed out the evening in Hayes Valley with Shikha and Ittai munching on Ler Ros Thai (so good).

Some other highlights from the past week included:

Celebrating Project Juice's newest location in the Castro! The food is so good, guys! Seriously check it out.

Trying out Filipino food for the first time at Elena Una with some amazing friends! I had no idea about Filipino food before this, but I must say I was so impressed. The paella, lumpia, desserts, everything in between was fantastic. Can't wait to go again and if you're in SF and in the market to try something a little different, please go!

Cheers!
