Hi Everyone!

Happy Thursday! After having a few years of living in SF under my belt, I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on what's going on and what's around. From restaurants to boutiques, I pride myself on being "somewhat" in the know.

It's also no secret that I love eating and drinking. And depending on what day it is, usually the latter wins. I'm more of a beer girl (always have, always will) so checking out different breweries and bars in the city really excites me.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of checking out Bare Bottle Brewery in Bernal Heights thanks to my gal pal and fellow blogger Emily and honestly, couldn't have been happier. We were welcomed by the founder, Mike who shares my love for delicious brews and even better, has close ties to Ohio. (eeeee!)

Not only is Mike the nicest guy, but he's insanely knowledgable about beer and the brewing process. For someone who loves taste testing, Mike knew the nuances of each variety and helped me pick and choose my favorites with ease.

Along with beer, Bare Bottle also has a food truck every week to pair with their on tap selection (and to soak up the alcohol). On my visit, I noshed on pork belly tacos and couldn't have been happier.

The entire experience from the ambiance which is inviting and unpretentious to the warm team makes for an awesome and fulfilling time. Definitely the perfect place to post up on warm Saturday afternoon.

Some of my favorite varieties?

The Scurvy Fighter American Pale Ale and the Cashmere Sweater American IPA. Usually I'm not the biggest fan of IPAs but this one went down oh so smoothly. Yum!

So if you're looking for fun and delicious beers without the crowd, head on over to Bare Bottle Brewery. Definitely worth the trip. :)

Cheers!
