What's Cookin': Homemade Tortilla Chips

IMG_9470IMG_9471IMG_9466IMG_9459IMG_9467IMG_9469 Hi Everyone!

Happy Saturday! Hope you're having a perfect weekend so far! More often than not, my schedule is a little insane. Whether it's going to work or anything else in between, finding the time to make a delicious and healthy snack is somewhat challenging.

That being said, one of my favorite things to do now (especially after making these with Shikha) is making my own tortilla chips!

This recipe is super full proof and I love mixing and matching dipping sauces! So, for the recipe:

Prep: 5 minutes

Bake: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 (12 ounce) package corn tortillas

La Victoria Pineapple Salsa

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Cut each tortilla into 8 chip sized wedges and arrange the wedges in a single layer on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes or until evenly baked and crispy

Carefully take out of the oven and grab your sides!

My favorite sides to pair with this easy-to-make recipe is chunky guacamole (delicious when homemade!) and La Victoria Pineapple Salsa. I absolutely love the mix of sweet and savory so tortilla chips and La Victoria salsa is the perfect combination!

Try this amazing and delicious recipe and channel your inner flavor seeker!

If you're not a fan of pineapple,  La Victoria brand of salsa came in other fun flavors like Mango Habanero and Roasted Pepper. Visit the La Victoria website to get more sweet, savory, and uber delicious recipes perfect for summer!
