Hi Everyone!

Happy Wednesday! Apologies on the delay on posting – the combination of traveling, eating, drinking, and everything in between has caught up to me. I'm feelin' pretty tired, but i'm pushing through. The beauty of a four day week, right?

Last Wednesday I headed to Chicago for Memorial Day Weekend and man, I love Chicago. Almost as much as San Francisco. The two cities have quite a few similarities. Delicious food, solid people, beautiful scenery, and some body of water close (Holla Lake Michigan!)

While in Chicago, I stuffed my face at Parson's Chicken & Fish, slammed a few tiki drinks at Three Dots and a Dash, got a dose of caffeine at Heritage Bicycles, and stopped by Oak Street Beach to say hai. Pretty amazing weather and I definitely will always have a crush on Chicago.

When I got back to San Francisco, I hiked Angel Island with a few friends. It was my first time in four years and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting or if you're a clueless local who hasn't explored too too much of the surrounding areas.

Ended the day with beers at Hard Water and then grabbed drinks with my best gal Court to top off the evening. Funny enough, we randomly met someone while watching the game who was spending his last night at a restaurant/cafe we love. It brought some good perspective and reminded me of how awesome San Francisco is. A city that brings people together.

Cheers!
