If you’re anything like me, you’re desperately seeking a little lightness. With everything going on in the world, it feels heavy. And not to diminish the serious issues going on in the world, but when your job is centered around the Internet, it’s hard not to let it get to you.
That being said, I’ve decided to insert a bit of play into my day by dressing as obnoxiously and loudly as I can. In what my employer refers to “dopamine dressing,” these vibrant outfits are all about feeling good. And if I may, they are an instant mood booster.
I love anything green, but this electric slime color has me especially excited. And yes, I truly believe everyone can wear this trend!
For those who may be a little weary of the shade, I recommend starting with one piece – and for me, it was this fun (albeit short) skirt. To turn the skirt down a notch, I paired it with what I feel most confident in – a sweatshirt, Converse and a fun jacket.
The overall look says, “she’s erratic, but semi-put together!” which is honestly not far from the truth. 🙃
