Prabal Gurung dress via Rent the Runway (similar here)
I don’t know about you guys, but it appears that wedding season is (and has been) upon us. Whether you’re in the bridal party or a guest attending, stressing about what to wear is a constant.
For me, I love dressing up for these occasions (a departure from San Francisco’s casual MO), but often want to wear something a little fancy, a little funky with a lot of comfort for hours spent on the dance floor (and copious amounts of hors d'oeuvres).
I also realize spending major amounts of money for one night isn’t the most ideal, so I’ve been going to Rent the Runway for inspiration. While I was scouring the website, I found this bad boy from one of my favorite designers – Prabal Gurung. It looked flattering online and I loved the print. I bit the bullet and ordered it without really knowing if it would fit.
Luckily, it did and it looks (in my honest opinion) freakin’ fabulous. I’ve already worn it on several occasions (a wedding and a night at the opera!) making it a go-to.
