Okay, so I have to be honest...I was pretty crushed to see La Urbana's Garage go, but out with the old and in with the new! And how new and delicious Barvale is! I'm a huge fan of Spanish tapas, but for me, the cocktails at Barvale are the showstoppers. Spanish born bar manager Jessica Everett is slingin' drinks like the kalimotxo (red wine and coca cola) and a variety of gin and tonic blends. Getting reservations is a bit tricky so make 'em a week or two in advance. Annnd, if you fancy an hour or two wait, cozy up to the bar and time will fly by.

If you're looking for a party, head on over to The Den in the Mission.  Because it only fits 15 people (no seriously), it's impossible not to strike up a friendly conversation with your fellow bar goers. The interior is funky (think tiki party on crack) and their late night bites are outta this world. My favorites? The Double Smash Burger (do you see that gooey cheese?!) and the Nashville Chicken & Tot Skewers. <3

It's about time Divisadero got a full-on bakery up in here! Situated on Divisadero and Page, I'm absolutely smitten with Wholesome Bakery's interior (how light and bright!), their coffee, and finally, their peanut butter brownie bars! Oh yeah, and how could I forget they are gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free! What could be better?
