Friday Favorite

Screen Shot 2015-10-02 at 8.10.02 AM Happy Friday, y'all.

I seriously can't wait to share another blog post on perspective, life, and the job market in San Francisco soon. Oh so soon.

San Francisco is amazing, right? I mean, just look at it. The way the sun washes downtown right when it hits 6:30 is only described as majestic, really. The sunsets in the west are downright the best I've ever seen.

And with so much beauty comes a lot of bad stuff, too. The city can whip you around, throw you off your course and kick you (repeatedly) when you're already down. I'll be sharing more about that later, too. :)

But I've experienced some amazing highs in this city and some amazing lows. The lows give you perspective as hard as it can be sometimes. Every single day should never be taken for granted – whether good or bad. All you can do is keep your head up and keep truckin' on.

The highs on the other hand are the most insane of highs. This sounds like an addiction post, right? I promise you it's not. One constant "good" in my life are the people I surround myself with. Inspiring, creative, supportive. These, my friends, are the people you want to surround yourself with too.

Your friends and loved ones keep you grounded, elevated, motivated. Why the hell would you be filling your life with toxic energy and vibes?

So, I encourage all of you this weekend to truly feel, live, enjoy, and ride those emotions. Tell your best friend that you couldn't do this (life) without her. Tell your boyfriend that even though you can be the hottest mess alive with tears streaming down your face, you're thankful he's there to hug you and say, "it's all going to work out." And for god sakes, tell yourself that you do and be anyone you want to be. It all works out in the end.

I hope you have an amazing weekend. :)

Cheers!
