Taste Test at Taste of the Nation

It’s about that time, y’all! Next Thursday, March 23rd is the 10th Annual Taste of the Nation event in San Francisco. This will be my third time and I feel so lucky and fortunate to be able to support an amazing cause and taste test some of my favorite restaurants in the city.

One of the reasons why I love this event is because of its cause. Some of the top Bay Area chefs and mixologists donate their time (and food!) to end childhood hunger.

Especially in today’s climate, supporting this cause is more important than ever. If you take a closer glance at California hunger, you’ll find that 23.1% of children in California live in poverty and more than 1 in 4 children don’t know where their next meal will come from.

This is absolutely unacceptable, but luckily, Taste of the Nation has made it their mission to throw a one-of-a-kind event where 100% of proceeds support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in America.

Some of my favorites will be there this year (Souvla, Spruce, Tacolicious and DOSA) along with some exciting newcomers (Aatxe and The Saratoga) that I can’t wait to try!

Sound exciting, rewarding and oh-so delicious? Thought so! So join me next Thursday to experience a night of spectacular food and to support an even better cause.

You can snag VIP tickets or GA up until the event, but you can also score 15% off GA tickets using the promo code: #TASTEFOODIES here.

Cheers!
