Jacket (similar), Sweater, Beanie, Jeans: H&M | Shoes: Topshop (love these!)
It’s no shock that San Francisco’s weather is a bit, uh, erratic? With morning’s starting out around 55 degrees to afternoons that peak about 79 and then back down in the evenings, how the hell does one prepare?
I don’t know about y’all, but after living here for six years, I’m still not used to it. I mean seriously – I DON’T HAVE A BAG BIG ENOUGH FOR ALL THESE LAYERS.
So, all I can do is complain. And well, buy tank tops or jackets. But if we’re being honest, buying jackets is WAY more fun.
I found this furry gem from H&M and since wearing it, I’ve been told on several occasions that I look like a bear, a “fashionable” monster, or that I look like I grew A LOT of body hair. And if we’re being more honest, I’ll take any combination of the three.
To downplay the craziness of the jacket, I went with a more demure bottom (praise these high-waisted jeans) and simple top. As I always say, “the higher the waist, the higher to god.” Just kidding, but it sounds good, eh? And to top it off (quite literally), I thought I’d channel my inner Steve Zissou with this beanie.
I know, I know. It’s “a lot of look” but in a city that accepts you wearing workout leggings almost anywhere, I sometimes feel like kickin’ it up a notch.
