Being in San Francisco, I'm lucky to experience all these amazing, local brands. From Everlane to Freda Salvador, there's no shortage of inspiration and style. Most recently, I was introduced to The Silo, a Bay Area brand specializing in handcrafted bags and jewelry.

After doing a little more research on the brand, I absolutely fell in love with the special touches Adelle Stoll puts into each piece. Whether it's a beautiful brass rod that helps close the bag or the thickest wool felt I've ever seen, each item makes you feel ten times more special when you're wearing it.

I think the most special thing about the brand is that they use high-quality materials and for that, it makes all the difference. The bag I'm wearing above uses 5mm thick German felt for its high Green standards and they source leather from USA tanneries whenever possible and buy it locally. Keeping with the local theme, they also handcraft the brass rod hardware in their studio store in Windsor.

It's a perfect bag to wear for an early coffee sesh (what I was doing when this photo was taken!) and can seriously hold the majority of my life's contents.

Along with being a rad brand, The Silo has officially partnered with Becoming Independent in Santa Rosa to have their crew help out with the production of their bags and to include them in the community!

Want to learn more? Check out The Silo here. Also, if you're in SF this weekend, Adelle will be showcasing her Fall 2015 line at Renegade Craft Fair!

Cheers!
