Hi Everyone!

Happy Thursday! I'm taking a different spin for this Tuesday and I thought i'd do a profile on a woman and company that I think rocks!

I've known Amanda since we were little and while i've moved to the West Coast, I've followed her via Facebook! Most recently, I started to see these amazing pieces of jewelry on her Facebook and Instagram. Curious, I dug a bit deeper and found out she has started Rocks with Sass. I asked her a bit more about the reasons behind Rocks with Sass and her journey of starting this awesome adventure.

Last fall Amanda had her first relapse with Crohn's disease after about 3 years in remission. She mentioned that her free time outside of work consisted of Netflixs and a whole lot of online shopping. The next thing she knew was that she had a mailbox full of these colorful, sassy rocks and no idea what she was going to do with all of them. Through the winter months, Amanda started making different jewelry pieces for her own personal enjoyment and to get my mind off of my current situation.

It wasn't until this past summer that Amanda decided to set up shop via Etsy and soon after signed up for the Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis walk. Her goal was to donate all of the sales up until the walk and currently, she's donated over $900!

I, personally am obsessed with these AMAZING rings (seen above). Being a statement girl, I can't get enough and will have to be making an order or two soon. To end, she likes to remind herself of two things:

1. I know for certain than I am stronger than my current situation.

2. The physical and emotional pain I am feeling now has a future purpose.

With that being said, I encourage you to check out her Etsy site and help Amanda raise even more money to donate for Zanesville's Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis!

Cheers!
