SONOMA HARVEST MUSIC FESTIVAL

This past Sunday I headed up North to check out the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival! This year, the festival was hosted at B.R.Cohn Winery – a place I’ve visited only once but what an epic venue for a music festival!

And the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival is not your typical run of the mill fest, y’all. It’s capacity is limited to 3,000 people (yessss for all of those with crowd anxiety!), has some of the best beer and wine (naturally) in the Bay Area, and has only one stage. That’s right – one stage so you’re never running back and forth from one stage to the next missing performances.

The two day music festival featured some well-known favorites like The Head and the Heart and The Avett Brothers, but also a few new-to-me bands like The Suffers and Lake Street Drive. The music blended so nicely with the wine (see what I did there!), the good vibed crowd, and the insanely beautiful scenery (80 degrees and sunny, y’all).

Along with the music, my favorite was noshin’ throughout the day. Some delicious highlights:

BBQ Oysters: Nothing says Sonoma like BBQ oysters from Hog Island and dayummmm, they hit the spot.

Frito Pie: Probably one of the most indulgent things I had throughout the weekend and brought me back to my Ohio roots! Chili, fritos, cheddar cheese, and big chunks of pork.

Pulled Pork Sandwich: Delicious pulled pork, coleslaw and to be honest, I forget what else because it was so damn good and was eaten preeetttttty quickly.

I had an absolute blast this weekend and even better, music happens every Sunday through October. I highly suggest going up to the B.R.Cohn property and when you do go, you can also get a 2 for 1 tasting via this link! Hip, hip, hooray!

Thank you to B.R. Cohn for sponsoring my tickets to the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival. As always, all thoughts and text are my own.
