Weekend Snapshots

Ah, this weekend sure deserves a solid weekend snapshots post. I spent the past few days celebrating my birthday and DAYUM, it's been fun.

It started on Thursday where my team at Pinterest went to the Museum of Ice Cream. If you haven't been, definitely a millennial's dream. It's a colorful (and delicious) experience so come hungry!

I took off of work Friday to celebrate and started the morning with my favorite SoulCycle class. After a badass class with Matthew, my bestie Andi took me out for brunch at Outerlands (YUM!) and a little Target trip. A guilty pleasure, mmkay?

After, I stopped by the new ModCloth store on Fillmore street for an upcoming collaboration that I'm WAY too excited about. The ModCloth team is seriously the best so looking forward to sharing!

As for actual birthday celebrations, a few more highlights:

  • Drinks and dinner at Black Cat Jazz: You guys, this is probably one of my all-time favorite spots in San Francisco. And naturally, that's why I wanted to celebrate my birthday there. It's uber romantic and the live music is out of this world – EVERY SINGLE TIME. This time we saw Danielle Wertz and her Tenderloin Quartet who blew me away. We cozied up to a table facing the stage while sipping a Bitches Brew (basically a vodka/coffee cocktail!!) and snacking on scallops (with corn pudding, cotija, lime, jalapeño, crema, chile piquin), pork belly and my fave, deviled eggs.
  • Refinery 29's 29Rooms: Much like the Museum of Ice Cream, this funhouse of style, culture and uhhh, selfies was very fun (but crowded!). Sunday was the last day in SF, but they're headed to Chicago, LA, and New York next! I loved every room's unique style that each and every person could interact with. Definitely worth the ticket and checking out!
  • Park hangs with the besties: All my favorite things in once place. Good friends, copious amounts of dairy, and delicious beer. So happy to have celebrated with my family.
  • Mozzarella Stick Cake: Erm, let's just say this was one of the more (dare I say most) memorable gifts ever. Tom is one thoughtful SOB and I can't believe he made my all-time favorite food into a birthday cake. All homemade. From scratch. I'm damn lucky.

Thank you so, so much for the beautiful birthday wishes/texts/comments/etc! I feel so loved & grateful!
