Hi Everyone! I've toyed with the idea of starting my own personal style blog for quite some time. As I mentioned in my "About Me" section, i've been a fashion and style lover since an early age.
I remember being six or seven years old and being enamored by fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Elle. Every month, I couldn't wait to get my hands on these newest editions filled with beautiful clothing, collections and accessories from all over the world.
While my bank account suffered, this appreciation for all things fashion spurred an excitement for personal style that continues to this day.
So, why the title?
I moved to San Francisco via Akron, Ohio a year and a half ago. I'm trying to become a San Franciscan local, while still exploring all the possibilities this city has to offer. And as the new year begins, I go back to my favorite quote (where you'll see below!) that I try to live my life by.
So thus, I would like to start The Local Transplant and share with you the clothes in a city that inspires me every day. I hope you too enjoy the ride as I begin my journey.
