The Perfect Palm Springs Weekend

Living in San Francisco for 6 years, I've explored a lot of California. From Tahoe to Big Sur, I've checked a ton of "must-see" places off my bucket list. One of them I hadn't crossed off, though? Palm Springs. Admittedly, I haven't really checked out much of Southern California. I know, I know. Well, until recently. In the spirit of being adventurous, my best friends Courtney, Andi and I packed our bags and headed to Palm Springs for an extended weekend.

Palm Springs is E P I C by the way. So, that being said,. I wanted to share some of my favorite shops, restaurants and hotels from my time there.

WHERE TO LOUNGE

The Ace: I'm sure you've seen it on the 'gram, but the Ace hotel is straight up badass. And while the $30 ticket to enter the pool was a bit steep for us, we loved exploring the hotel and snacking on a delicious brunch from Kings Highway.

Arrive: If you head to Palm Springs, GO HERE!! The pool is phenomenal (salt water, too!) and the staff is so friendly. Since it was 110 degrees the entire weekend, we spent the majority of the time in the pool. And to be specific, the pool here. Stay for the pool, come back for the delicious frozen rose. NOM!

The Saguaro: If you're looking to add a little color to your life, The Saguaro is just the ticket. The pool is super fun and the scenery is the epitome of what I think Palm Springs should be.

The Parker: The ultimate place to relax. Seriously, the grounds are impeccable and the decor is phenomenal.

WHERE TO NOM

FARM: Upon stepping into the restaurant, it's like you're transported to the South of France. So, so good! And not too busy. Their fresh watermelon juice is the perfect way to start brunch. Pro tip: Sit outside!

Kings Highway: Located in the Ace Hotel, Kings Highway is like walking into a 70's diner but with date shakes and avocado toast. Fill up here and then lounge by the pool.
