Leggings, Shoes, Top, Jacket: Athleta | Bookbag: Everlane
There are a few things I've learned since living in San Francisco. Here are the top three:
- Everyone is ALWAYS doing some sort of physical activity (running, walking, yoga, etc)
- Athleisure is not just a trend, it's a way of life
- Comfortable footwear is a MUST
Luckily, I'm a big fan of all the above. I even bless the high heavens when I can walk an hour to work AND wear athleisure and Birkenstocks.
So, this leads me to another point. HAVE YOU GUYS EVER WORN BIRKS? Before moving to this great state, I thought this footwear was for the crunchy types. So, needless to say, I was a little hesitant when I saw the majority of the city rockin' them on the weekend. But, when they made a fashion resurgence in 2015, well, I had to get on board or get the F out.
