Jacket: Target | Pants: Leviβs via Rent the Runway (similar here) | Shoes: New Balance x Staud | Beanie: Ganni
Iβve lived in SF for around 10 years (!!) and I feel like Iβve grown accustomed to the climate. Itβs usually pretty temperate β bordering on the high 50βs and 60βs for most of the year (with a bit of 70βs thrown into the mix).
But this December has made me realize what a true wuss I am. Right now, as I type this β itβs around 44 degrees and while that may not mean much to many, itβs cold with a capital C for us Californians.
So, when the weather goes buck, what do I end up doing? Making a perfectly sound excuse to buy winter jackets β even if this moment is fleeting (should be back in the high 50βs later next month).
I set out to find a jacket thatβs lightweight enough to wear constantly (because 44 degrees does not warrant a true winter jacket), but warm enough to keep me at peace while I go to and fro.
Alas, this neon yellow jacket from Target has been my 98 degrees β my everything β but without the cheesy white tank tops. Iβve worn it with, wellβ¦everything. Including these faux leather pants and this Ganni beanie that perfectly hides my unwashed hair. Oh, and top it off with some colorful sneaks from the Staud x New Balance collaboration that tie the lewk togetha!
If I canβt feel the sun β the least I can do is channel it.
